It’s a bit early for Halloween but the shots I took of a cloudy, moon-lit night last July was a pleasant surprise. The transluscent feature of storm clouds partially obscuring the waning moon as it approaches the Last Quarter was a sight to behold! Leave it to the Creator to come up with such subtle hues! As an artist, an photography enthusiast, and backyard astronomer I really appreciate such beauty.

Knda reminds you of haunted houses, ghosts, and a wolf howling, doesn’t it.  To make things more interesting, I’ve created this slide show of the shots I took…you can actually “see” the clouds moving.
