Here’s something I read somewhere but can’t remember where.  Nevertheless, it’s one of those things that will make you stop and thing, and maybe have the courage to go through all the trials and tribulations that we’ll experience in life.
“As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down probably will.
You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it’s harder every time.
You’ll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You’ll fight with your best friend.
You’ll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You’ll cry because time is passing too fast and you’ll eventually lose someone you love.
So take too many pictures,
laugh too much,
and love like you have never been hurt
because every sixty seconds you spend upset
is a minute of happiness you’ll never get back.”

My Thoughts:
If every trial we encounter in life will cause us to be bitter, resentful and jaded, then we didn’t learn the lesson we were supposed to learn from the experience.  Like it or not, life’s lessons come from pain, suffering, disappointment, loss, hunger, poverty, heartbreak, misfortune, and whatever else we may come across.   Every time we overcome trials, don’t we feel stronger? Aren’t we tougher?  Aren’t we more resilient?   Aren’t we a bit wiser?
Remember this: “That which doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.”  Have faith that God will not allow you to experience trials without the grace to overcome it.
