The sky is still dark,
No noise I hear from the lark;
A chill feeling is in the air,
It’s all around us—everywhere.
First, a light I see that’s orange hue,
Against a sky a little pale blue;
And now the orange hue is gone,
For a stark blue cloak the sky has donned!
It is the dawn that I see,
As lovely and majestic as thee;
How happy I am to be,
If you could share this moment with me.
This lovely scene I’m witnessing,
Without you loses its meaning;
I hope you know the feeling,
And relieve this burden I’m bearing.
